Everyone says that breastfeeding just comes naturally. While sure our bodies make milk without us having to do anything, there is nothing easy or simple with breastfeeding. So many women struggle and then begin a destructive pattern of guilt-tripping ourselves because it is supposed to easy...I mean we are created to do this...and then they don't reach out for support for fear of being shamed for something that their body should just know how to do. I can promise you that while it is natural it is not easy and we all at some time struggle, whether that is with our first child, our eighth child, or maybe every single child we nurse.
