When & How to Contact Your Midwife

​I am here to serve you and your family during this beautiful journey. I know that there will be times that you have questions and concerns, and I am honored to be available to be here for you. To provide timely and compassionate care to all of my clients, I want to give the best ways for you to reach me based on your needs.

 

If your situation is not emergent, please use the message portal or the portal text number to send me a message. I will get back to you within 24 hours unless it is the weekend or holiday.  There are many aches and pains that are normal in pregnancy.  Therefore, what you are concerned about may not be a “danger” sign.  However, it is essential that if you have concerns to let me know in the message portal if non-urgent or via phone call if it is urgent. Please do NOT text me with critical concerns.

 

This is NOT a complete list of issues, but an example to help you know which option of contact would be best for your situation.

 

Response time expectations:

  • Non-urgent messages will be responded to within 24 hours during the week.

  • Non-urgent messages during the weekend or holiday will be responded to on the next business day.

  • Non-urgent texts will be responded to via the portal on the next business day and may incur a $25 fee.

  • Urgent concerns should always be done via a phone call.
